For Krauss Maffei, a plant engineer developed a particularly space-saving painting system on two levels. The workpieces travel on a crane runway at a height of 12 m; the walk-in painting and working area for the workers is located 6 m high on the second floor and the space below is fully usable - protected by a guardrail for large parts weighing up to 30 tons.
