The new OptiCenter OC07 powder center from Gema combines modern application pump technology (OptiSpray) with automatic fresh powder feed for easy and clean color changes. According to the manufacturer, the system guarantees constant and reproducible coating results and significant powder savings. The heart of the powder center is the powder container (OptiSpeeder), which conditions the powder optimally by fluidization. The new container has a large inclined opening, which allows easy and quick access and viewing of the powder container interior. The short suction distances are designed for an even powder flow and excellent coating results. The closed powder circuit is controlled fully automatically and precisely and ensures a clean working environment as well as measurably more economic efficiency. The powder hopper is equipped with a variable level gauge and automatic fresh powder feed to ensure a constantly available quantity of powder. The changeover from fresh powder to recovery mode and to cleaning mode is fully automatic. The application pumps are integrated directly into the powder container.

The Smart Inline Technology (SIT) and the pump's single-chamber system ensure a straight and extremely precise powder flow. According to Gema, this results in reproducible and constant coating results. The constant powder delivery of the application pump increases the transfer efficiency and enables significant powder savings due to uniform layer thicknesses. The operation of the powder center is particularly intuitive and takes place via the 7" touch screen of the integrated control (OptiControl). The controller can be used to control the coating process, select the cleaning options and record additional run data for high system transparency. The powder centre can be used for a wide range of applications. Depending on requirements, it can be supplied as a stand-alone product or as an integrated component of a complete system with pistol, axle and cabin control.
