Mixing and pumping in one

For liquids which have to be mixed before processing and then pumped or which contain small solids, the new DMP mixing system with an integrated air-operated double diaphragm pump has been developed by Lutz. The mixing and pumping process is performed via a suction and mixing tube and a 3-way cock. The pre-assembled system is immediately ready for operation with a few simple steps and is also suitable for explosive liquids. A compressed air driven double diaphragm pump in the size ½" made of stainless steel (1.4404), which is mounted on a base plate, serves as the delivery unit. With the universal chemical hose used, a variety of liquids can be pumped. For example, paints and varnishes, emulsions, dispersions, suspensions, water/oil mixtures, liquids with increased viscosity and solids content. The delivery rate is 57 l/min., the maximum operating pressure is 8.2 bar and the maximum temperature of the fluid is 93 °C. Solids up to a diameter of 3.2 mm can be pumped. The total weight of the system (including pump) is 21 kg.
