240 exhibitors from 16 countries presented a comprehensive range of products and services for component and surface cleaning at the 16th parts2clean from 23 to 25 October 2018. According to the organiser, Deutsche Messe AG, around 4500 trade visitors from 26 countries visited the trade fair in Stuttgart, Germany - around 400 fewer than a year ago. The proportion of visitors from abroad was 21 percent, of which 76 percent came from EU countries and a further 18 percent from the rest of Europe. The strongest visitor nations after Germany were Austria, followed by Switzerland, France, the Czech Republic, Italy and the Netherlands. Organisers and many exhibitors were satisfied with the way parts2clean 2018 went. Olaf Daebler, Global Director parts2clean at Deutsche Messe AG: "Many exhibitors have told us that from their point of view the quality of visitors has improved even further.” The proportion of trade visitors was 99 percent. And every second visitor has a management function in his company. 85 percent stated that they were involved in operational investment decisions. At 82 percent, the number of visitors planning investments was slightly higher than in the previous year. For 41 percent of these, the investment volumes amount to more than 100,000 euros. The sectors from which the trade visitors came to parts2clean are as varied as the tasks in parts and surface cleaning. The focus this year was on the automotive and vehicle industry with around 42 percent, followed by mechanical and plant engineering, metal processing, electrical engineering and electronics, precision mechanics, optics, the pharmaceutical industry as well as chemical and process engineering. Nine out of ten visitors expect to visit the next parts2clean again, according to surveys conducted by the organizer. It will take place from 22 to 24 October 2019.
