Sata has been supporting aid projects for children and young people in need at home and abroad for 22 years. This year, despite the economic consequences of the Corona crisis, the company will continue to support social organisations. As in the last two years, the donation will go to KIDsmiling e.V., Cologne. The association offers free football training sessions for boys and girls aged 6-18 years, mainly in socially deprived residential areas. After Sata has started a pilot project in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, this year's donation will be used to expand this project and add three more locations in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, Ludwigsburg and Kornwestheim. The donation abroad goes to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for Pediatric Cancer in the USA. This organisation is committed to improving the quality of life of children and young people with cancer. Beginning with the diagnosis and throughout the treatment, the children and adolescents and their families are supported in the form of psychological counselling, recreational activities for recreation and the acquisition of manual skills, for example in the field of motor vehicle repair, as well as through educational work about a healthy lifestyle.
