Christin Schack has joined 3M as vice president and managing director in the Central Europe region, effective Oct. 1, 2022, with responsibility for the business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium. She succeeds Dirk Lange, who is taking on a global role in the 3M Automotive Business. Christin Schack has already been with 3M for 27 years and most recently headed the "Safety & Industrial" business unit in Central Europe. She took over this position in April 2020. Previously, the qualified business graduate worked in various positions in Germany and abroad, gaining in-depth knowledge of various business areas of the multitechnology company. Following various sales and marketing functions at 3M's dental division in Seefeld, she took over responsibility for corporate marketing in Western Europe in 2011. In 2016, she moved to the 3M Nordic Region in Sweden. There, she led the "Industrial" business unit before returning to Germany in 2018 in the same role. Born in Hanover, she is the second woman after Christiane Grün to take over the management of 3M in Central Europe. Christin Schack has been committed to diversity and inclusion for years.
